Ash Paintings
The following Ash Paintings are created using ash and soot from burned trees and plant life within the landscape’s burn scar. These paintings are a response to the effects the 2018 wildfires had on California's landscape.
The ash and soot are mixed with a clear acrylic base and used as a painting medium.
